About this event

UBU, KARANDA’s original theatre production directed by Brandon Ingram, runs from 5 to 8 November 2026 at Bay 07, Trace Expert City, Maradana, Colombo, Sri Lanka. A cast of ten explores power, engagement and the performance of truth in a kingdom in chaos. The production is primarily in English with some Sinhala and is intended for audiences aged 18 and over because of strong language. There are six separate performances: evening shows at 7:30 PM on 5, 6, 7 and 8 November, plus matinees at 3:30 PM on 7 and 8 November. Each performance lasts 90 minutes without an interval, giving expected finishes of 9:00 PM for evenings and 5:00 PM for matinees. Doors open 30 minutes before each show. The listing’s 7:30–9:00 PM time refers to the evening performances, not continuous attendance across the four dates. Tickets start at LKR 3,500, with prices varying by seating section and free seating within the selected section. Check current availability and the exact price on the organiser’s booking page: https://karanda.lk/book. The venue is indoors with air conditioning and on-site parking. For performance and booking enquiries, contact the organising KARANDA team directly on +94 74 338 8800, also the official WhatsApp contact. Official production information: https://karanda.lk/
